Governor AbdulRazaq Inspects Multi-Storey Prototype School in Ilorin, Reaffirms Commitment to Public Education

Ilorin, March 11, 2025 – Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to strengthening public education in the state, emphasizing massive investments in school infrastructure and digital learning.  

The Governor made this known during an inspection of the government’s multi-storey prototype primary school in Adeta, Ilorin, over the weekend. He described the project as a model for future public schools in the state, aimed at providing a conducive learning environment for students.  

“We are going to focus heavily on education and healthcare this year. These are major challenges we must overcome,” AbdulRazaq said. “Through KwaraLEARN, we are integrating technology into learning, bridging gaps, and improving the overall education system.”  

Highlighting the impact of the KwaraLEARN initiative, the Governor noted that the program has led to increased enrollment in public schools, with many parents transferring their children from private institutions due to improved learning outcomes.  

“This is just the beginning. We are seeing significant changes, and we are determined to sustain this momentum,” he added.  

The Governor’s continued investment in education aligns with his administration’s broader vision of providing quality learning opportunities and modern infrastructure for students across Kwara State.
