In a press release personally signed by Senator Saliu Mustapha, the Tutaki of Ilorin, he attributed misteps on the Kuntu Gaa-Aremu road project to a communication gap. Mustapha clarified that there is no discord between him and Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, who is not only his elder brother but also the leader of the APC party in Kwara State.
Taking responsibility as a leader, Senator Mustapha stated that efforts are underway to address the information gap and rectify any misunderstandings with the Kwara State Ministry of Works and Transport. He vehemently denied rumors that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq halted the constituency project, emphasizing the absence of any animosity between them.
Senator Mustapha concluded by urging party leaders, elders, and loyalists to be wary of mischief-makers aiming to sow division within the APC in Kwara State, emphasizing the unity under the leadership of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
