Shock in Ogun: FRSC Officer, Daughter Murdered After Lover Claimed “She Used My Glory” — Suspects Confess

Geri Alimi News — A horrifying case of alleged ritual killing has gripped Ogun and Osun States after an FRSC officer, Lasisi Funmilayo, and her daughter, Sewa, were found dead with several body parts missing.

The prime suspect, Victor Fajemirokun, who was also the late officer’s boyfriend, confessed that he lured the victims from Abeokuta to Ijebu-Jesa in Osun after an Islamic cleric allegedly told him that Funmilayo had “used his glory” and was the cause of his misfortune.

Fajemirokun, 40, was paraded alongside two herbalists, Gboyega Daramola and Sunday James by the Osun State Police Command on Wednesday.

According to his confession, he arranged a supposed “spiritual cleansing” session that ended in the gruesome killing of the mother and child.

“It was as if I was hypnotised. I never planned to kill her. I only realised what happened when the news broke,” he told journalists.

The police report revealed that the victims, earlier declared missing in Ogun on November 2, were slaughtered in a bush near Ijebu-Jesa. Their mutilated bodies were later recovered around Esa-Odo Dam and another forest location in Osun State.

One of the suspects, James, told investigators that he was ordered by his boss, Daramola, to kill the victims after claiming Fajemirokun requested it. He confessed to slitting their throats and helping butcher the corpses.

Osun State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Gotan, confirmed that body parts, including the head, hands, breasts, and genital organs, were missing, raising fears that the killings were for ritual purposes.

Fajemirokun initially fled to Ghana but was tracked down and repatriated through Interpol’s assistance.

Police say the suspects will face charges as investigations continue, while efforts are underway to apprehend others still on the run.
