New APC Chairman Announced for Alanamu Ward, Ilorin West

Abubakar Babatunde Tukur has been appointed as the new chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Alanamu ward, Ilorin West local government area of Kwara State. This decision comes after the suspension of Alhaji Muyideen Ikoloba, who faced allegations of anti-party activities and negligence of his official duties.

The announcement was made by APC Chairman Ilorin West, Hon. Sulaiman Tejidini, during a meeting held at Pakata LGEA Primary School. The decision aligns with the party's constitution and follows the directive from the Party’s state executive. Before this appointment, Abubakar Babatunde Tukur had been serving as the acting chairman of the Party in Alanamu ward.

The meeting witnessed the presence of key party stakeholders, including Member representing Ajikobi/Alanamu Constituency, Alhaja Aishat Tundun Alanamu, Kwara APC Secretary, Alhaji Mustapha Isowo, Chairman Alanamu ward Elders and Stakeholders, Alhaji Mustapha Kobe, Vice Chairman Alanamu ward Elders and Stakeholders, Alhaji Nurudeen Jaji, Secretary Ilorin West Local Government, Alhaji Sulaiman Yahaya, Senior Legislative Aide to Kwara Central Senator, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Adio, and others.
