The family's desperate situation escalated tragically when Abdulfatai, his junior brother called upon for help by Alhaji Kadriyar's wife, was fatally gunned down during a confrontation with the criminals.

According to information posted on his Facebook page by a popular ilorin base social media influencer, Alh. Abdulganiy Saad, The bandits have issued a chilling demand for a staggering 60 million Naira as ransom for the safe release of the kidnapped family. With the clock ticking, the distraught family faces an imminent threat, as the deadline for the ransom is set for Friday, January 12, 2024.
