Minister Appoints Ex-Reps Aspirant from Kwara As Special Adviser

Hannatu Musawa, the Minister of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, has named Abiola Abdulkareem, a former House of Representatives aspirant from Kwara, as his Special Adviser for Civil Service Affairs. In a statement on Monday in Abuja, Abdulkareem expressed his commitment to aligning with the minister's vision and aspirations.

Abdulkareem, who contested the House of Reps primary election for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun, and Oke-ero Federal Constituency of Kwara in 2022, pledged to serve the minister and the country diligently. He acknowledged the significant responsibility of contributing to President Bola Tinubu's renewed hope agenda.

He emphasized his dedication to realizing the administration's dreams and visions, highlighting his intention to collaborate with civil servants to harness the potential of the new ministry. Abdulkareem stressed the importance of the creative economy in generating jobs, revenue, community resources, and cultural engagement as a means to reduce the country's reliance on oil.

Abdulkareem also emphasized the creative economy's rapid growth and applauded the president's decision to entrust it to a focused and energetic woman. He expressed his commitment to promoting innovation among civil servants to boost national revenue and called for support from civil servants to drive this agenda forward.
