FG Introduces One-Year Online Program to Upgrade HND to B.Sc

The National Board for Technical Education has launched a one-year online program that allows Higher National Diploma (HND) holders to upgrade their diploma to a bachelor's degree by completing a top-up course at foreign universities. The move aims to facilitate HND holders' pursuit of higher degrees. 

The board revealed this in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Monday by Mrs. Fatima Abubakar, its Head of Media Unit.

According to Mrs. Abubakar, this was done to make it easier for HND holders to advance to higher degrees

The program addresses challenges such as the two-year Master of Technology approval and issues related to National Youth Service Corps mobilization. 

The NBTE has also established an HND admission portal to ensure accredited programs are visible and curb illegal admissions.
