News reaching this medium just now indicates that three young women among those mobilised to Banquet Hall , Ilorin, for the just concluded APC state inauguration are presently in custody of Bandits Kidnapper who abducted them on their ways home from Ilorin
The women according to multiple informants are one Mrs Yemis , Ward women leader, Eruku , Ekiti LG , ward women leader, Koro , Ekiti LG and another APC ward women leader from Obbo Ayegunle .
The unlucky women who boarded an 18 passengers bus left Ilorin after collecting the sum of Seven hundred naira each paid as compensations for their coming to Banquet Hall. Their vehicle was attacked by gunmen which made everybody on board to scamper for safety. Several others who narrowly escaped being abducted were injured and are presently receiving treatments in varuous hospital .
But the three women leaders were abducted and whisked to an unknown destination . One of the victims whose phone reportedly rang while being whisked off picked her phone and gave it to the kidnapper to speak with her relative. It was at this point the kidnappers informed the relative on phone that his sister had been abducted and that twenty million naira will be required to get her alive.
There have been seruous grumbling among those who attended the inauguration ceremony as some APC members are blaming this on the apc leadership which refused to give everybody their N700 on time which made so many people to leave the venue at very late hour .
"This our party is too poor in organising things, we cannot be saying it out but they should be blamed for what happened . The seven hundred naira they gave us, I collected my own after seruous struggle around 7:30pm. We are just operating as if we have no leader"-Said one of the APC members who attended the program today
