Shifting focus from " Good Boys" to "Good Work".....TALBA ON MY MIND

As 2019 competition turns into a game of who can generate the best and greatest number of polling units in the 16 local government areas of Kwara State, creativity scholars are being asked potential questions about the proclaimed contestants ranging from Oba AbdulRaheem , Suleiman Abubakar, Lukman Mustapha, Moshood Mustapha and host of others still consulting with the big players of Kwara Politics.
What does it mean? How relevant is it? Does it offer guidance on the decisions of electorates and good people of Kwara State?
To help match the innovations between theory and practice, I present the newest and most important insight as follows:

1. There is need in making political game to be creative. Creativity in politics is just a different way from what the traditional Kwara politics of thuggery, thievery, assassination, intimidation, feeding of electorates on the eve and during election days with token of cash and cup of rice to a noble way of creativity politics. It is necessary to note that " *One doesn't manage creativity, One manages for creativity* ".

2. The first priority of who would be the next Governor of Kwara State is to engage the right  people, at the right times,to the right degree in creativity work.

3. He will need to tap ideas from all ranks by consulting with ward leaders to State level by giving them enormous autonomy of decisions in the declaration of interest to run for the number 1 position in the State.
Also, encourage and enable collaboration by forming different networking committees across the 16 local government areas.

4. Create a Filtering Mechanism. Not surprisingly, some push back occurs. It all sounds very nice but gardens do have weeds, it must not only be watered or fertilized, but also kill off stiff that holds no potentials.
The who would be leader must provide intellectual challenge to the electorates and good people of the State. Making provision for the setting for good work and not good boys.
Equip graduates on productivity works and not arming them for political thuggery in the name of SMEs leading to thievery and cultism.
Empower the non graduates on crafts and trade by allowing them to pursue their passion not imposing on them.
